PS... I haven't been a profitable trader all my life. I spent more than 10 years paying my dues and giving a LOT (the cost of a couple of houses worth to be honest) of money to the system before I became profitable. I've been there. Persistence, commitment and tenacity are a traders best qualities. It takes time to find your groove.

So many BS Bla Bla responses. Yes we've all read the books. For me, I am a very profitable (trader of more than 40 years experience in stocks, commodities and forex) and I only became profitable when I stopped using a stop loss. Now I NEVER use a stop loss. NEVER, ever, ever. My account is my stop loss. I only fund the amount with the TOTAL amount that I am prepared to loose and don't make stupid trades. In other words if I fund an account I am prepared to loose 100% of that account without loosing sleep. Then I go all in on every trade I do make. Because I am all in on every t...

Simply incorrect. The odds are still against the gambler. In order to win you have to make the spread + your profit. In order to loose you just have to loose. It's not a 50:50 chance at all. Higher time frames negate this to some degree but not entirely.

Sorry buddy but "The Turtle Traders" is already taken. Maybe an Armadillo??? Goes a bit quicker than the poor old turtle as well 😄.Will ya look at that. I've been back for a whole day and haven't picked a fight with anybody!! Maybe I'm not so cranky after all.

Mate NO. No. No. Not better. Different!! I love, RESPECT and am fascinated by your style. More of a turtle approach with a hard shell for protection and a slow and steady pace. As you know I'm a risk junky on an adrenaline drip. Everything has been trending for nearly a year now with only one small speed bump in the road so you didn't need to be a genius to look like one if you were prepared to put your balls on the line. LOL With MK it's highly possible. Have you seen the number of accounts he's blown over time. His only account with any longevity is Phoenix Capital Management and has an equity curve going in the opposite direction to the balance. It has the smell of a gridder about to do that sudden death plunge they tend to do. The equity is not even 50% of the balance any more. Good time to cash out but I'm betting he hasn't got the intelligence to even see it coming and one day it will just become another one of his accounts that stops updating . TICK TICK BOOM!
